More information

Are you confused about the new Person(s) Responsible regulation changes? Do you need to make time for a deep dive into the changes so you can ensure your centre remains compliant? If yes – this webinar is for you.

While some of the new Person Responsible regulations are already scheduled to be repealed, there are a large number of significant changes that have already been made in February 2024 that all service providers must comply with.

ECC members who have already participated in our NZ Childcare Finance policyhub on Person Responsible in May 2024 may not require this webinar, however, if you need a refresh or opportunity to clarify your centre’s approach to the regulations, this webinar will help.

This new webinar builds on this but will take you through the regulations, explaining areas where employers have flexibilities and where the regulations require explicit compliance. ECC’s engagement with members has revealed widespread confusion around the Required Staff regulations so this will also be covered in this webinar.

  • understanding the changes to the regulations (Persons Responsible)
  • supporting them to be achieved; and
  • clarifying the Required Staff regulations (50% ECE qualified).

You will also get access to the following ECC resources:

  • Person Responsible Letter of Variation to Employment Agreement (Manager)
  • Person Responsible Letter of Variation to Employment Agreement (Teacher)
  • Job Description Template - Teacher with Person Responsible Duties

This webinar will be streamed live on ECE Learning Unlimited, log in or create an account today to access all the webinar content on demand.
