More information

Part two of the ECC Enrolment Agreement and Advisory Webinar Series covers another component that should be included in ECE centres’ enrolment agreements: clear information and expectations around family support payments and how child absences are managed.

Maximising family support via Childcare Subsidy and the Family Boost tax rebate is important, to enable families to enroll their children at ECEs. It is crucial to understand how support schemes work and here, too, the enrolment agreement plays an important part.

This webinar will discuss the ability for centres to charge fees, and explain the role of optional charges and donations. It will also explain how the Frequent and Continuous Absence rule works.

This webinar will debunk some common myths and help centre managers navigate their way around Funding Handbook rules, the realities of managing parents paying fees, and the financial impact of children being absent.

This webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Maximising Family Boost
  • Maximising the WINZ Childcare Subsidy
  • Charging Fees, optional charges and donations
  • Charging parents for unfunded absences
  • Frequent and Continuous Absence Rules – how do they work?

This session will be convened by Simon Laube (Chief Executive), there will be allocated time for questions.
